She identified that I need to file MA income taxes. She also helped us file our FBAR and went through our foreign interest and capital gains income. She walked us through the calculations she did and was able to complete our taxes during the allotted appointment. Diwakar Taxes also gave us receipts when our state, federal, and FBAR filings were accepted.

They miscalculated my tax penalty and IRS sent me mail about it. They misdirected me on which 401k provider to get a refund from for overcontributing. They have dismal communication skills and either blame you for booking an appointment too close to the deadline, or for not spoonfeeding the details into the spreadsheet. Terrible experience dismal service. Never going back here. You're better off using Turbotax. They offer 0 skill.

I had a great experience with DIWAKAR TAXES for the last 6 years. I have been filling my BUSINESS & INDIVIDUAL Tax returns with Diwakar Taxes for the last 6 years.SHASHANK and AMIT are extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of my tax return, including deductions I didn’t even know I qualified for. The staff was friendly, responsive, and professional. They handled my multi-state return smoothly and helped maximize my refund. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for trustworthy and efficient tax preparation. These folks are Awesome.

The staff here are mostly very rude. The only consultant who was patient enough to go through the various options was Shashank. But since he is never available, they put me up with Ashwini, who just doesn’t want to listen to your individual situation. The whole reason why I chose a human tax consultant over software was because I wanted to explain my situation (worked in India and US in the same year) and get guidance on what is the best way forward. Instead I just got rude responses and a hurried replies. They wanted me to file the easiest option to save their time and not the most money saving option. Don’t come here. Avoid Diwakar Taxes, especially Ashwini at all costs.
