Dr. Klemperer is professional and thorough with our family skin cancer screenings. For acute conditions and concerns she is relatively accessible and efficient. Her office has a clean, relaxed, modern vibe. The scheduling is well organized so that there aren't lots of patients in a crowded waiting room. It's like going to an old-fashioned, yet somehow modern doctor.
Do WHATEVER IT TAKES to have this amazing woman be your dermatologist! As most of us know, dermatological appointments generally need to be at least one month out, often two. New to the area, my daughter was graduating high school the Friday before Memorial Day. She had noticed a blemish on her skin several days earlier and we managed an appt elsewhere for early July. Then the blemish turned into a rash all over her chest and back. While I knew it wasn't life threatening, she was clearly upset and worried and anxious. Dr Klemperer actually takes time with you to understand your whole picture, not just a quick 10 minute skin exam like most dermos. She did a very extensive exam. It is a bummer they do not take insurance, but I understand that is why she can spend so much more time with me. Definitely worth it.
