I have been dancing with Festival Ballet since I first saw The Nutcracker at the Arlington at 8 years old. I loved every minute of my time there - so much so that I still dance and participate in The Nutcracker every December! The instruction is first-rate and absolutely the best you'll find in the county, if not beyond. The environment is welcoming to dancers of all levels and ages, and fosters not only the elements of classical ballet, but athletic and personal discipline, musicality, and teamwork. If you're looking for a dance studio - this is the one!
I grew up taking Ballet at Santa Barbara Festival Ballet. Learning dance here was such a wonderful experience. It set me up for success in my adult life! I was able to use my dancing to get into college. I got a degree is Dance Science and continued into a career as a Pilates instructor. I now own a Pilates studio in SB and have recently started taking the adult ballet classes at SBFB! The teachers and studio are wonderful, always have been. I highly recommend enrolling your child in dance class here, it can open up so many opportunities for their future! Festival Ballet offers high quality classical ballet instruction that is inclusive and joyful. When looking for a place for my son to start ballet training, I wanted a school that was elevated in its approach, but not too rigid. This school strikes the right balance. He loves his class and looks forward to dance class each week.
