This is truly the best martial arts and group experience that I could’ve asked for. The instructors I fall of knowledge and I’ve seen them work really really well with children.This would be a great place to start and finish your martial arts career. I’ve been there for 10 years plus if that’s any indication of how great they are. I would fully recommend this to anyone I know.

The classes are informative and enjoyable, and there’s a really welcoming and supportive community here. Great location, great people, and an awesome place to learn and practice martial arts!
The best martial arts studio by far in the Santa Barbara area. I have been at USSD-SB for 19 years and plan to continue for another 19 years. The instructors understand my personal needs and goals as an adult male I have prior injuries which the staff understands and works around them and in fact helped me to rehabilitate.
I look forward to my lessons and classes every week which helps me keep in good physical and mental condition as well as the self confidence that comes with knowing that you can defend yourself.
