“We admittedly have a simple tax picture, so we use Sweeney Kovar for regular yearly taxes. Their turn around time even in busy season is quite good, and we have had no complaints at all; pricing seems very average. We do not use them for other (investment) services. What was very good, really above and beyond, was info given to me by our rep Charlie before he retired. I mentioned a few practices a business contact of ours was doing, and he quickly let me know some of those practices were quite illegal. He took the time to mention 3 or 4 points, gave me some photocopied info to pass along to the others. I have to admit, the recipient was not pleased to be 'found out', but I felt I did my part to pass along the info. You don't mess with the IRS!! Staff is very friendly and capable at all levels, and it is easy to get an appointment. This year we are going to use the portal to upload documents. Anything to make tax time easier!“
