I went to his office trying to support DOs and given that I am younger than his average clientele he took half a look at me and said that I didn't really need to get a checkup. Still went through the motions but very quickly, when I inquired about things I had previously been diagnosed with, he disregarded them and said there is no way I have those things even though I have had multiple specialists diagnose me (and it should be in my chart). I was scheduled for an appointment 12/1/2025. On 11/25/2025 I received a text message asking me to confirm my appointment. Due to me being is meetings all day, not having my phone with me, and being overwhelmed with hosting my 1st Thanksgiving, I got distracted and forgot to reply. The day after Thanksgiving I received several text messages stating that my appointment was 2 weeks late, and then immediately after, I received another text that my appointment had been cancelled. I had a very troubling experience with Dr. Michael Tempkin in San Ramon in 2022.
My health never been the same.
He prescribed me a high dose of thyroid medication even though my thyroid levels were already within range. This dosage essentially wiped out my TSH. In addition, his testosterone treatment took my levels from normal (around 45) to an unsafe 265, far above the recommended range.
Anti aging treatment should be included progesterone and estrogen. Mine did not.
