I cannot recommend Joann at California Lymphatic Massge enough. I went to see her for 4 lymphatic drainage massages following a deep plane neck and lower face lift. Joann specializes in post surgical care and really understandable how to work with healing tissue safely and effectively.
From the first session, the treatments were gentle and pain free. Over the course of 4 sessions, I saw a drastic reduction of both swelling and bruising, as shown in the photos (day 6 was before massage, day 8 after 1 session, and day 11 after 3 sessions). I began seeing Joanne for lymphatic drainage massages after my surgery. She takes her time to make sure to address all areas needed, giving the attention required to really loosen up and move the lymph to be able to drain at the appropriate nodes. You can see and feel the difference immediately! She was extensively helpful at reducing my immediate stiffness, pain and swelling. She used gentle techniques and applied just the right amount of pressure during a time when I am extremely sensitive to touch. I went for my overall health I'm in my late 40's and I'm starting to feel my age in my joints, digestion, muscles etc. I went to Joann one time but I like how she does business. I totally forgot about my appointment and instead of just cancelling me she worked me in her schedule. It was very clean in the restroom. It was very relaxing and I fell asleep, it was like a very light massage. I wished I could've stayed longer. Anyway, I don't know if this works but I did realize that I need to drink more water! I recommend going here!
