Jeff has a very good vision for design and was able to incorporate an island in our design where as other companies said it could not be done. “Hamish and his son designed cabinets for my closets and did a wonderful job of installing them all to perfection. He even came up with a wonderful solution and design for angular corners to maximize the utilization of the space brilliantly. Although he is based in Walnut Creek, he came all the way down to Fremont and I believe he covers the entire Bay Area. In all, he installed three sliding closets, one walk in closet and converted a space under the stairs into an efficient work space which has come in very handy during this work from home period. “This review is definitely overdue — we had our wardrobe installed back in November — but after living with it for a few months, I feel even more confident recommending Inspired Closets.

My wife set up the initial consultation, and Daniel met with us. He was super easy to talk to, genuinely into what he does, and came with a lot of thoughtful ideas. His background in construction really showed — he wasn’t just focused on aesthetics, but on making sure everything was practical and well thought out.

He also did a great job working within our budget. At no point did we feel pressured to overspend, and he was flexible in helping us land on a design that made sense for us. After putting together the design, he invited us into the showroom so we could see and feel the materials in person, which made a big difference in finalizing everything.

One of the coolest parts of the process was the VR walkthrough using Oculus headsets. Being able to “step into” the closet and get a feel for the bar heights and layout was honestly really helpful and gave us confidence in the final design.

Daniel was patient the whole way through — never pushy, always willing to answer questions. Installation was easy to schedule, and the crew was efficient, respectful, and completely self-sufficient.

We did run into a couple of minor issues after installation, but Inspired Closets handled everything quickly and without any hassle, which says a lot about their customer service.

Now that we’ve been using the closet for five months, we’re really happy with how it turned out. It’s made from MDF, feels solid, and had no odor at all, which we appreciated.
