Had the best facial experience with Yamel Varela, aesthetician on B Street in downtown San Mateo. She gave me the Geneo ultrasound facial with exfoliation and oxygen-boosting technology using all-natural products, and my skin feels amazing.
What I appreciated most was that she didn’t try to push products. Instead, she shared thoughtful advice on routines and simple practices to take care of our skin as we age. Relaxing, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I think I officially found my face person.

Yamel is the best! I have gone to her for a hydraglow facial as well as threading services and received good recommendations on skin care and skin prep.
Her hydraglow facial is so relaxing and definitely is worth the self care you’ll feel, not to mention how refreshed your skin looks and feels after. For threading, she makes sure not to overdo the eyebrow threading which I really appreciated.
She’s so sweet and I enjoy conversing with her about life. I recommend her services if you’re in the area- and even if not, it’s super easy to schedule with her through text!
