My family and I have been going there since 2005! Both Dr Reza and Dr Youngerman are truly kind, caring and great doctors. They ask a lot of questions to make sure that our overall health are also good, not just our spine and back. They do not do any hard sell or try to get you to buy a package or anything like that. We have our monthly adjustment for maintenance or more frequent if we are in pain. Dora is great too and she works hard to keep the office running efficiently so that the Doctors can focus on the patients. I highly recommend them if you are looking for chiropractic care.

Another 5 star review. But I'll make it short. Here you will get treatment and advice which emphasizes doing less and getting more...and getting the latest in Chiropractic especially that which emphasizes less manipulation and more body self-healing, at least that is my experience. I know a fair amount about Dr. Abusaidi, what he thinks, the humanitarian work he has done in other countries, the research he does, and his excellent children. His wife and partner is Dr. Yongerman, also an excellent and caring doctor. If you are looking to build a relationship long-term or just receive carefully considered treatment for an immediate issue I believe this team to have wisdom and experience to help you.

Dr Reza is an incredibly knowledgable, kind, and gentle chiropractor. I am truly grateful for the way he spends so much time to listen to his patients, and never seems like he is in a hurry to get people in and out. I truly believe that he cares deeply for his patients, and is in this profession to help people. Though he doesn't take my insurance, it's been worth every penny I've spent seeing him, as I no longer have the tailbone pain that I was having before. Before seeing him, I can say that I was very depressed, as anyone who's ever had chronic pain can understand. I found him because it seemed like every doctor I saw had no idea what was going on, and I found him after google searching tailbone pain in the bay area. Finally, I bit the bullet and went to see him, and I'm so glad I did. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Reza if you have any tailbone issues, or any other chiropractic issues for that matter.

I am going to be forever indebted to Dr. Reza. I have been in massive pain for 6 and a half months after the birth of my daughter resulted in a fractured and dislocated tailbone for me. I was told by the horrible OB who delivered her that it wasn't broken or dislocated, even though it was. I was told by my excellent usual chiropractor that he couldn't help me. I was told by an orthopedist twice (who didn't even physically examine me or order any new x-rays and refused to order an MRI for me) that my only recourse would be either cortisone injections or surgery to remove the tailbone altogether (which I hear can really mess up a person's body because it is attached to so many muscles in the pelvic floor). The orthopedist even told me that if it was dislocated, there would be no way of putting it back in place. I felt horribly discouraged and my pain was getting worse every day. I got so desperate because of it, that I started doing research on the internet and found Dr. Reza's website (www.tailbone.com). Then, I found out he was in San Mateo and called immediately the following morning to make an appointment. I was greeted professionally on the phone by one of his two assistants, and was told that he doesn't take my insurance (boo!) but, as I mentioned, I was desperate for help, so I bit the bullet and went anyway. He asked me to explain the pain and all of that through a thorough interviewing process (while I stood, since I couldn't sit for longer than 5 minutes at a time). He asked me what I expected or hoped to get from the visit and I tearfully said that I hoped he could help me but that I expected that he couldn't, because all I had heard over the past 6+ months was that nothing can be done except surgery (which they don't do until you've had this problem for a year, and then it takes a year to recover from the surgery!). He didn't guarantee anything, but said he'd need to see better x-rays and sent me to a place in Redwood City that knows how to do specialized tailbone x-rays (covered by insurance, thankfully). I went there, got the x-rays, called him to let him know I had them done and he asked me if I could come back up and see him again with the x-rays in hand. So I trekked back up there and he totally fit me in so he could do an adjustment after reviewing the x-rays with me. So nice. He looked at the x-rays with me and I was shocked at how dislocated my tailbone was (in two places) and how in the original x-ray I had had months ago, you can't see anything because it was taken lying down and you can only see the front view. It was apparent and very validating in the new films. Anyway, he did the adjustment next, which was logistically uncomfortable, but he made it as pleasant as possible. I have to say, after just one visit, I already feel like I have my life back. Anyone with chronic pain will understand what I mean. I am going to go see him again for a few more adjustments but it already has made the difference of at least a 90% improvement after one visit. I know not every case is that lucky, but I am so grateful that mine was. Thank you, God, for Dr. Reza and thank you, Dr. Reza for my first pain-free day in MONTHS!!!

I have now completed 8 visits with Dr. Abusaidi, or Dr. Reza, as he is known. I found him online after doing a search for tailbone injury manipulation. He was the only chiropractor in the Bay Area I could find with this focus. Prior to Dr Reza I had seen 2 orthopedists who ordered x-rays and an MRI, but never physically examined me or touched me. The outcome was a recommendation to surgically remove my dislocated tailbone; not an option. I had never been to a chiropractor and was skeptical. On my first visit, Dr. Reza spent 2 hours with me reviewing my x-ray, MRI, setting out expectations and doing my first adjustment. Over the past 8 sessions, I have experienced, consistent improvement. Dr. Reza and his office staff have always been professional, accommodating and personable. He has 2 offices and you can see him at either or both. Great experience overall.

Our family have been going to Dr Reza since 2005. At first, we would go there every week or twice a week depending on our condition. Now that we are better, we only need to go in once a month for maintenance care. He checks to make sure that we are okay and everything is in alignment. He even adjust our little daughter. Every time after leaving his clinic, all of us sleep so well at night. We have since moved to Mountain View but we still drive back to see him in San Mateo because we really trust him. Dr Reza and his wife also own another clinic, called Redwood City Chiropractic on Woodside Road. We love having two locations/options to choose from :-) They are very flexible in their scheduling and both doctors and staff are extreme professionals.
