I had a great experience working with Ali. He was friendly and welcoming throughout the entire process. He picked up two rugs from my home for washing and is also helping me sell another rug. He took the time to answer my questions and made everything easy.

The washed rugs came back looking vibrant again, and I was very happy with the quality of the cleaning. On top of that, Ali gave me a discount which I really appreciated.

If you’re looking for honest, professional rug cleaning with great customer service, I would definitely recommend Bay Area Rug Cleaners and Ali.

I cannot praise the team enough for the absolutely phenomenal, miracle-working job they did on our beloved rug! Most cleaning companies in the Bay Area claim to handle specialty textiles, but they are honestly just wall-to-wall carpet cleaners who use heavy machinery meant for mass-produced, machine-made carpets. They completely lack the knowledge, patience, and touch required for delicate hand-woven treasures. You simply cannot compare any other local cleaner to the true master of rug repair and washing, Ali. He operates on a completely different level of artistry.

Wonderful craftsmanship from Ali and his team. We have a valuable rug 25 yr old rug that had sustained structural wear through several moves and severe moth damage over the years. It is clear that Ali truly loves his craft and treats fine textiles like artwork. The re-weaving and edge repair work he did was wonderful - you cannot even tell where the damage originally was! He is honest, transparent with his pricing, and highly knowledgeable. If you have a high-value or antique rug that needs structural restoration, this is the only place in the Bay Area you should take it.
