Charo Elegance of San Marino

I visited yesterday with my middle school son - we took in his first suit! My husband and I used her services when she was located next to Pizzanista, but she has moved to a more secure location one block away - right next to Leon’s Auto/Gas. She says many former customers think she retired, but she didn’t - Yay!

There’s not much signage, but it’s literally right next to Leon’s, with an entrance and a parking spot in the back and also a door on the street side. Inside, there are other businesses as well - just follow the sewing mannequins and you’ll find her easily.

Charo is great and the prices seem unbeatable. One caution is that she seems overextended and perhaps not well organized. I wouldn’t take her something I need quickly. I was waiting to pick up my item and the people waiting with me had a lot of crazy stories about waiting, not hearing back and taking long with their garments.

Charo is amazing!! She is so sweet, helpful, and understanding. I've been going here for a few years now and recommend her to everyone I know. She has bent over backwards multiple times to make sure an item was finished in time for an event. One time she quoted me a fair price, but my finances were tight. After she sensed my hesitation, she showed me how to start the job in my own and then told me to bring the skirt back and she'd finish it for a fraction of the price. I couldn't recommend her more!!
