We love this place. The entire staff is kind, patient and knowledgeable. We have had to take our dogs here and one of our cats over the years and every experience was positive. They also have coloring books and snacks for the littles and coffee for the adults!
Everyone was exceptionally friendly and courteous. They made me feel very comfortable and welcome. They especially were very attentive to my pet spoke to her approached carefully and very sensitive to her issues and health problems. Dr Drake explained what tests they were going to do , how they would do them and explained what they were looking for. When all tests were done she took the time to sit and explain to us all the results so far and her thoughts to that point. I have never had a Dr or Vet spend as much time just talking to us, explaining procedures and possible outcomes , even which direction she felt we should go, of course more tests needed to come in so... read full review
If you have a pet that has a serious condition, I highly recommend San Marcos Veterinary Specialty Hospital. I’ve been there twice and they’ve been so wonderful and compassionate. Really just an amazing staff all the way around. It’s so worth the drive, $, and time. This is my poor little brainless pup whio tried to commit suicide by running in front of an suv.
