I am posting another 5 star review for the amazing staff at Twin Oaks - and especially, Dr. Watanabe! My dog had what appeared to be a partial nasal obstruction and I was terrified that it was a malignant neoplasm (I work in oncology). Dr. Watanabe made time to see us and discussed all options including a nasal exam under sedation with potential biopsy and culture. She immediately called after his pre-anesthesia labs were resulted which showed an elevated neutrophil count (WBC, which indicates a potential infectious process present). We discussed further and decided to try a course of broad spectrum antibiotics before sedation. Seven days later and my soul dog is healthy as can be (pic from his follow up appointment)! Dr. Watanabe was patient, considerate and medically judicious in terms of our options and next steps! An amazing team of wonderful people - we’ll never go anywhere else! 💚💚

Our cat, Nezu, swallowed a fabric hair tie this morning and a little research made it clear it could become a serious issue so we brought her here within an hour. The staff was very helpful & Dr. Puja Buch was able to get the hair tie out very quickly (saved us from having to try endoscopic methods or surgery).
Thanks for saving our precious little gremlin this morning!

We drive a bit fr Oceanside to San Marcos to get to Twin Oaks Animal Hospital bc Dr. Weinberg will take time to answer all our questions and provide a not rushed experience. My kiddo is interested in vet med and Dr W let her watch all the extra tests we needed at our first visit for the kitties in the back, what a gem!!!! And she makes extra space for sick patient visits which is how we found her luckily.

We have been bringing our 2 Miniature Toy Schnauzers Louie and Hazel here ever since we got them. Twin Oaks Valley Animal Hospital has been great to us and them. We highly recommend them! ❤️🫶😍🌞
