Just had our backyard grass put in by California Turf Company and we couldn’t be happier! Dustin was awesome, detailed and patient explaining how everything works with the installation process. You could tell he really knew his stuff and wanted us to feel comfortable with what was happening. The crew that came out to do the work was great too. Respectful, friendly, hard workers—the whole package. Showed up, got it done, and were just genuinely nice guys to have around the house. Our backyard looks fantastic now and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. If you’re thinking about getting turf installed, definitely give these guys a call!

Not so sure I can recommend this company. The guys installing did a fantastic job, but I did witness some of the guys slapping each other on the butt, and some even drinking alcohol. I'm not sure drinking on the job is acceptable, and I do have kids, who luckily were in school when the install was being done, but I wouldn't want them to see any of that. Again... Dustin and the team did an amazing job, but maybe some of the installers need to work on their professionalism & their behavior.

I had an outstanding experience with California Turf Company installing my backyard putting green using Celebrity Greens, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire process and final result. From the start, Dustin was exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and a true straight shooter. As an avid golfer, I did my research and was already leaning toward Celebrity Greens because of their premium quality and endorsements from professional golfers. But what really solidified my decision was Dustin’s expertise. He clearly walked me through the differences between lower-quality turf options and what Celebrity Greens offers, without any pressure—just honest, informed guidance. The installation team, led by Jose, was equally impressive. They were friendly, highly skilled, and kept me involved every step of the way. What stood out most was their attention to detail—they asked thoughtful questions about layout, chipping areas, and exactly how I wanted the green to play. They even used a stimp meter to dial in the speed to an 11, which is exactly what I was looking for. Beyond installation, they took the time to provide detailed care instructions so I can maintain the green at a high level long-term. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship, communication, and professionalism were top-tier. I’ve already recommended them to a friend, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do so again

I had very high expectations for CJ and his team, and they exceeded those expectations. Before I chose SoCal Synthetic Lawns and Putting Greens, I met with a few other companies and also talked with a couple of CJ's customers. Those customers were as happy as I am now. My project involved both decorative turf and a fairly complex putting green. For the decorative turf, The Turf Edge is a real game-changer - it makes the turf stand above any of the others out there. My putting green includes short and long putts, as well as a variety of breaks, which is what I wanted. CJ and his team put in extra effort to satisfy a tough customer (me), and they were great to work with all the way through. And despite delivering superior products and service, I was surprised to find that CJ didn't charge more than the other companies I looked into. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, is his and the team's integrity. The whole team did what they said they would do, without the uncomfortable surprises that sometimes accompany work like this. For all these reasons, I give SoCal Synthetic Lawns and Putting Greens my highest recommendation.
