The Best Appliance Guy

I filed a claim with my home warranty company for my clothes dryer and they sent the “The Best Appliance Guy.” He took my $70 deductible, supposedly ordered a part and never came back. I had to call several times to check in and make sure he didn’t forget me. He assured me he did not…but still never returned. It’s been months and still no word. If this is “the best,” I’d hate to see the worst.

Be aware..scammer..shows up to collect money for appearing..says will order parts and never does..has multiple excuses ....beware con artist..nice and comments on everything in your house and animals..will make excuses like covid etc so cant return with parts. Real con artist. Insists on payment and does nothing

As others have shared this appears to be either a negligent at best or fraudulent at worst business. While Todd was referred by a plumber we used and he was very nice in person he never provided the stated service after $500 was paid and months of repeated follow-ups. His approach was to recommend an expensive part to be replaced, tell you he will have that part in a couple days (make you call constantly for a week), bring a defective part to claim the repair is done making you pay in full, and then claim the part must have been damaged in shipping and he will submit a warranty replacement.
