After getting quotes from other roofing companies, I selected State Roofing Systems to remove and replace the roof on my house. OTHER companies provided quotes (that were more) and had some obscure exclusions. If I didn't understand the industry, I wouldn't have understood. State Roofing was very professional throughout the whole process. They contacted the City, obtained the permits, ordered all the correct materials to complete the job. They scheduled the project with my approval and performed the removal of the old roofing, applied the correct underlayment, install all the flashing properly. On the second day all of the shingles were installed, and they had the City Inspector scheduled to provide the Final Inspection. I can't say enough good things about State Roofing and the whole project. They performed the work with a high level of craftsmanship. And they were very honest, which isn't the norm in the industry. They also upgraded by shingles to Title 24 compliance when the regular shingles were not in stock. During the project, I found several employees have worked for State Roofing for many years. The foreman on my project has been there for 25 years. He mentioned he has stayed there for all of the reasons mentioned above. The office staff was very friendly, responsive and professional! State roofing was extremely professional, giving us update on every step. Unfortunately, our roof had extreme termite and dry rot damage. We went over budget. Keith from state roofing went above and beyond and gave us $45,000 credit with 0% interest. Who does that nowadays he could've easily charged us over 10% or not giving us the loan at all.
