The owner took me at the last minute cause I wasn’t able to get an appointment with my stylist. My hair is thick and can be a lot for some folks. I was somewhat nervous of going to someone I didn’t research before hand and wasn’t sure what her vibe was going to be or if someone was just going to be playing in my hair but to my surprise after we warmed up to one another the vibe was cool but most of all her silk press on my 4c hair was not disappointing at all. She is seasoned in natural hair let her work speak for itself.

Did a fantastic job on my hair. I absolutely love it. Starting my natural hair journey and I was reluctant to a new style but Me’Ling put me at ease, offered different style options, and gave me valuable feedback on how to take care of my hair. This is an updated review: my girls have always been braid girls. They wear their hair in braids 100% of them time but for special occasions they want their hair straight(silk press). Meling has come through for my girls numerous times over the year. When my oldest was taking senior pictures during Covid, Meling made sure she looked beautiful for her special day while taking numerous care to make sure she felt safe and comfortable during that scary time. When my youngest who's incredible 4C hair needed to be trained before taking her senior pictures, Meling worked wonders without damaging her hair and now with my daughter's going to her senior prom, Meling has manage to do her magic again and make her look amazing. Thank you Meling for being an essential presence throughout my daughters lives and making the special occasions ex.
