I had Richie take out a sizeable pool in my backyard with buildable soil. He gave me a very reasonable flat rate on the spot (which was cheaper than other quotes), and showed up as promised and completed the job without any hassle. The crew limited the breaking time so that we wouldn't be hearing the loud noise for too long during the day, and they took away everything they said they would. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a pool removed.

We needed to remove our old in-ground pool as we could no longer control the algae and needed to replace the water. I got a quote from Richie and one other contractor in Concord for buildable removal, but decided to go with Richie even though his quote came in a little higher. He did a good job answering my questions and I like that he is local.Richie was able to get the permits and start the job ~6 weeks later. He did a good job answering my questions and I like that he is local. Richie was able to get the permits and start the job ~6 weeks later. I texted Richie on the weekend and he said no problem, they would start on Tuesday. Once the team showed up to start the job, they were great at communicating what they were planning each day. They had to remove a section of fence and a small greenhouse to gain access. They also decided not to risk damaging our old driveway with the heavy trucks, so fill dirt was dumped in the street and transferred to the backyard with the bobcat. This showed me that they really care and are thoughtful about what they are doing. I was able to go to work each day without worrying about being there to supervise. The team showed up each day as scheduled and after the concrete demo, rebar cutting, ~28 truck loads of dirt dumped in the hole and compacted, the job was completed in ~9 business days as estimated. They did a good job cleaning up and hauling everything away. ~2 weeks later I passed the city inspection and received the signed permit.
