With that behind us, we took on getting the right makeup and how best to use it.

“I had to find a new hair dresser after my longtime gal retired. I'm SO relieved to have known of this salon since I had stopped in there a few times to buy their Aveda products. My recently retired gal had stopped selling that brand in her salon so I kept buying them at Gorgeous A Salon. Anyway, I decided to try out this place for my cut and balayage color, and Sophia has been excellent! She nails it every time, and goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome and make me look great! My previous gal often would change my look or change the color products and kind of use me as her guinea pig, but I wasn't crazy about that. But with Sophia, she lets me keep my same style and color each time I go in. No experiments or switching out products. I love her consistency with always getting it right every time. But I also wanted to say that I find the other stylists in the salon to be quite friendly too. There is always friendly conversation and warm heartedness towards me from them too. I enjoy my time when I'm there. I so appreciate this place. No pretentiousness, fair prices, and excellent services. Also, they're never pushy about selling me products I don't need...but I often DO buy nice products from them since Aveda is one of my faves! Also, I must say that I am super impressed with their mask-on policy where they care about their customers keeping safe from COVID. I know some folks may not like this protocol they still stick with, but I am grateful, as I am a caregiver during the day and need to keep the elders in my life safe. ;-)“
