L-one is the most amazing appliance repair company I have ever seen. I called them to fix my Maytag Neptune dryer...supposedly the best dryer on the market...... but it suddenly stopped working. Nik came over and determined the control board was malfunctioning, and found out that they are no longer made..... but instead of telling me to buy a new dryer, he takes the board back to his shop...... and rebuilds it himself..... hahahahah... unbelievable.... he brings it back the next day.... and presto.... the dryer works better than it ever has in the 20 years I have owned it..... absolutely incredible. It was easy to make an appointment with L-One. Nik arrived on time and confirmed that our 3 year-old GE fridge had a dead compressor. Unfortunately, it would cost $1600+ to fix it. We agreed that it was reasonable to buy a new one. We also had a second estimate from another repair shop. While that repair shop reassured us about the quality of their work and didn't think a new fridge was needed, their cost was $200 more and the warranty on their compressor was 6 months.We appreciate the honesty from Nik. Giving 5 stars even though we didn't go with the repair. Would consider using again for other appliance repairs.
