I have been a patient at Eye Focus Optometry for about 5 years now and never experienced any issues. For my previous exams, I was seen by Dr. Cindy Nguyen and yesterday I was seen by her associate optometrist: Dr. My Diep/Guino. What really motivated me to write this 5-star review is the experience I just had with their office. I had my annual eye exam yesterday with Dr. Diep and everything went well for the most part. However, when it came time to pay for my exams and contact lenses order, I was shocked to see how much extra I had to pay out of pocket after my insurance coverage. Had a sour experience turn out amazing! Long story short, my mother in law came in to get frames last week and walked away with a subpar selection due to her vision insurance. However, at the time it wasn't clear on the actual reasoning.As the son in law trying to help in the matter, I came back to investigate further. I must say I was going a bit "Karen" on the staff and was a bit aggressive. (so sorry). But after speaking with Lin and Dr. Nguyen they were able to clearly explain the situation. Professionalism 5/5Staff 5/5Customer Service 5/5Trustworthiness 5/5Walking in, one can notice the sleek, modern simplistic aesthetics of the office with its white furniture and shiny, glass shelves that display eyeglass frames. The vibe here is generally quiet and peaceful unless the office is bustling with people wrapping up their eye exams or picking out their frames. I first learned about Dr. Cindy Nguyen when I started dating my husband, and now we go here for joint appointments! Her patient care is in great contrast to the recent offices I've gone to.
