I'm honestly kind of surprised at this place doesn't have better reviews. I'm guessing the people that are coming here and leaving reviews are really not who they're catering to, which is why I like them all the more. I imagine, or at least I hope, that they look at these reviews and laugh. if they would build one of these places in Boston I swear I would single-handedly keep them in business. But I definitely think it's not for everyone. I don't need some fancy-schmancy spa where I get slippers, or a bathrobe, or a shower, or a super modern bathroom, or a nice adjustable bed with a nice cushy headrest, but even privacy for that matter. Good, no frills, cash preferred but fee to cards okay, and clean. Had inconsistent experiences with my back massage. I'm skinny but need super hard pressure to my shoulders and neck, chronic pain:( once it was 10/10! Next 5/10, then 7-8? It varies depending on the person you get.

I used to love going to this place because they offered really good massages at a really affordable price. I even refered this to a couple of friends. However, on my recent trip, the place did not look very professional as it was unkempt and just looked all shabby and rundown. There was also a lack of privacy for it's customers. On top of that, when I paid the person who did my massage $20 for the service, and gave $5 as tip, he told me that the minimum tip was $10. I'm okay with tipping more, but I think asking customers to tip at 50% is unappropriate. If they feel that the service provided is worth more, then they should just increase what they are charging... read full review
