After recently moving to SF, I didn’t have a preferred hair salon but was so pleased to have wandered into Tasha’s hair. The stylist spent so much time on my hair wash, cut and style, ensuring it matched my photos exactly. She gave the most heavenly scalp massages too. One of the best haircuts I’ve ever received, and at a fraction of the price of the nearby Nob and Russian Hill salons. I will always come back and send my friends!
Recommended! My first haircut in San Francisco, it exceeded my expectation. I just walked in to the salon. The salon is clean, Amy washed my hair thoroughly then cut my hair nicely. I feel satisfied with her haircut. Definitely I will come back here again!
Very friendly and personal service, Alice really understands her customers needs. My family and I have been going to Alice since the mid-90s. Prices are very reasonable, family operated accepting cash or check only. Conveniently located in lower Nob Hill bordering Chinatown just a few blocks from Powell & California and Stockton. Easily accessible by bus, the new Rose Pak Station light rail, cable car which stops directly in front of their entrance, and by car where you can park at the garage right next to the salon or there is meter parking on the streets. They accept walk-ins too 9am-5:30pm, closed on Tuesdays. Definitely a long time establishment and a Chinatown favorite serving the local community.
