Blondes! This one’s for you. I’ve had a lot of difficulty finding/trusting someone with my fragile (damaged) hair. Many experiences in the past have left me struggling with breakage etc. I found Ruben through a friend who highly recommended him. So happy I decided to book for a full highlight & cut. Ruben is so kind and honest with what’s sustainable for your hair long term and he actually cares. I really respect the time & effort he put into his work. My hair feels so much healthier & the highlights blend sooo well. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The salon is full of talented artists & it really shows! (Content warning: dramatic narrative) As anyone can tell you, finding the right hairstylist is like trying to find your soulmate- it's a long arduous process filled with pain, disappointment, and betrayal. However after finding Sarah and the wonderful staff and experience at Salon, I can say that my journey is over. Not only does Sarah know how to translate my garbled hair desires into reality every time, but she's fun to chat to as she makes hair dreams come true. The other staff is very friendly and accommodating when trying to schedule, bring refreshments, etc. I have been loyally coming for two years and I will never abandon them!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Ruben Michael. I've been seeing him for the last two years and he has entirely changed my hair. I have naturally curly hair and he is the only person who has been able to manage it and give me a cut that I LOVE when wearing it both curly or when I style it straight. Not only is he amazingly talented and fun to work with, but he really takes the time to understand my lifestyle and priorities and give me a cut that works with both. Would recommend anyone go to him for cut and color, but especially anyone with naturally textured or curly hair. You will not regret it!
