As a first time customer, I couldn't be more happy with the short haircut by Tess and get compliments all the time. She absolutely knows her stuff and understands ways to work with hair that misbehaves. My bangs, specifically, are perfect! In the 30+ years of getting short cuts, hardly anyone gets it right.

As a guy with long hair, it’s not easy to find a haircut I enjoy, in fact this is the first one I’m ecstatic about in the 10 years I’ve been here. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Best hair salon period. Not just the bay area, not just California, the best objectively. I have been coming to patrick evan salon for 5+ years, and the quality of service is unmatched. Particularly for the thermal reconditioning treatment I get, it is highly specialized treatment and Patrick is a master of his craft. I live in another state and I continue to return to SF for him to do my hair. Also equally important, the standard of care is so high. I wasn't completely satisfied with my results and Patrick personally corrected it and was so kind and patient with me to ensure my hair was completely perfect.
