Loved every aspect of my experience here. From the vibe to the service to the beautiful chandeliers inside.. would definitely come back. The service was fast, friendly and excellent. Great relaxing music playing in the background with a Parisian feel/theme to the place ( except for the twix and offerings by the door;-) ) .... I'd say it's delightfully old fashioned yet charming, clean, and full of character.
Gotta give my favorite place in Hayes Valley a shout-out! Pampered Girl has been my go-to pedicure place for 3 years now. The staff is polite and friendly, and they serve you tea and chocolates (!) during your service. I wear restricting shoes and am prone to ingrown nails, and they always do such a great job at correcting this problem pain-free. Seriously, their attention to detail is amazing. For $28 you get a pedi that lasts for at *least* a month. Make sure you bring cash for tip!
This is my regular place! The employees are super nice and they always offer some tea or a small candy. Good tip is to call ahead just to check on their availability..even calling 30-45 min ahead can be useful, and they're responsive to it too. My gel manicures always last at least 2 weeks or more!
