Paul is a perfectionist. Just a great hair stylist. They are very nice at Neon Shade and very reasonable. Minimal wait time. Great atcoloring hair and styling hair- women or men. In the photo I have light brown hair.

This place has had the same staff for many years. We bring our kids here for haircuts because they know exactly how to cut their hair just right. Our oldest son has hair that requires a specific cut due to having 2 cowlicks in close proximity and if done improperly, it grows out pointy and spikey and it looks weird.We don't even live in the area anymore but we drive the 30 miles every couple of months because we can't find another place that can cut our kids hair the way we like.

This is my favorite hair salon in SF for a haircut. I've been here several times and have had my hair cut by all of the stylists. It's a very straight forward experience which is what I like. I'm not really looking to be chatty when getting my hair cut. It's usually first come first serve by stylist. I don't have a preferred stylist since they all have done a great job in my experience. If you prefer someone you can let them know. Hair cuts now are $30 but still good value imo. Sometimes there can be a wait if they are busy.
