I was really trying my luck with several hair salons in Chinatown listed on Yelp, and my eyes fell on Monalisa, and I am sure glad I did. Tammy is an excellent hairstylist. Since this is my first visit ever, and not knowing that an appointment is necessary, I walked in and she courteously took me in. I then showed her how my hair was trimmed in the past via photos on my phone, not only did Tammy manage the outcome the same exact way, but she actually made it look better. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

Great mens haircut that was done quickly, professionally, and done well. Plus it was really affordable ($13). Make a reservation before you go though! Would come back to get another cut.

This place is the best because of Tammy. She runs this place and is the nicest and sweetest person to have a conversation with while getting your hair cut. She’s also very modest whenever I tip her. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for her until now, but here we are.The haircut is great if you’re looking for something simple and understandably affordable. Tammy seems to understand exactly what the guys want and gets it right every time without me reminding her. Her clientele ranges from all kinds of people and just knows how to do a proper fade.
