I'm with the majority of reviews, this place is great for what it is. Inexpensive, decent cut with no nonsense and in/out quickly. I've gotten several cuts here over the years, and never had a to wait long at all.I retired recently and let grooming get out of hand, so my hair is way down past my collar now. Going in on Tuesday for a cut to "business like" and I know it will run me about fifteen bucks (10 + tip). Not bad at all.Please tip your hair cutter, it's a good enough deal as is and they work all day on their feet. A little extra helps.Service: Haircut

I used to live right around the corner and came here every other week for my haircut. At $12, you can't beat the price. It used to be pretty busy, sometimes 5-6 people ahead of me and would take ~30-45 minutes before it was my turn. I didn't mind because it's a great deal and I wanted to support a small business owned by people of color. I came back the first week salons reopened and it was empty. Pauline is still there but business has slowed a lot and you can tell. Pauline is sweet and professional: she wears 2 masks, gloves, and sanitizes everything. Anywhere else in the city would charge you $40 or more. Why not save money and help out local business during these...read full review
