Deborah has been hand stripping our Norwich Terrier for the last five years. I was desperate to find a new groomer after a bad experience when Gus was a puppy. After extensive research, I was lucky to come across Kent's Kanines. Deborah and I had a long phone conversation regarding Gus's first grooming experience where the groomer had muzzled Gus. He was traumatized. Deborah's approach to Gus was measured, calm and comforting. He was a little wonky on the table at first, but after a few grooming sessions, he figured it out, with Deborah's guidance. Gus looks forward to Deborah's visits, which really says a lot. We appreciate her patience and skill with Gus. We LOVE that she comes to our home. Furthermore, my dog is quite anxious and does not do well in a loud commercial setting. She is able to handle my dog's peculiarities and accommodates his needs by grooming him at-home and with me present. I highly recommend her if your dog requires more attention because of their temperament or anxiety -- she will know how to handle them with care.
