Kaiser insurance requires you to go through their system for talk therapy yet does not make it easy to get in touch with the team to establish a new therapist. I have reached out 4 times over phone/ secure messaging without being connected to someone to schedule.
Theres only 1 person in all of San Francisco that can help you get to receiving ADHD medication and if the are busy it can take weeks before you are even able to be seen to get them filled.
My therapist at Kaiser psychiatry department have been helping me healing trauma that I’ve been suffering for decades of PTSD symptoms. I was able to grieve for the first time from the loss of a close family member who passed away 28 years ago. I couldn’t have done it without the professional care. My experience at Psychiatry department have been positive and supportive from front desk staffs to my therapist.
