The receptionist I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and difficult to communicate with, to the point that I couldn’t even make an appointment. The way she spoke to and treated me was completely inappropriate, especially for someone working in a psychiatric department, let alone the medical field as a whole.
Edit: I have since called again multiple times and left voicemails, which are never returned. The operators I do get through to hang up on me. A disgrace to mental healthcare.

Over a year ago, I began the process of getting assessed for ASD. First, it took forever to get through to the office. At one point I was on hold for over 30 minutes. I was then scheduled for what I thought was the assessment, which actually turned out to be a screening. Kaiser insurance requires you to go through their system for talk therapy yet does not make it easy to get in touch with the team to establish a new therapist. I have reached out 4 times over phone/ secure messaging without being connected to someone to schedule.
