“I have been a customer of Marvel Maids for years. It is a well run local company who hire very good staff that are reliable and trustworthy. The cleaners, (Guadalupe and Irene), always do a very nice job. I felt compelled to leave a review this time because they truly went above and beyond. I had recently badly stained my kitchen sink. I had tried to clean it myself with Comet and CLR cleaner, but couldn't get it clean. The cleaners however, somehow got all the stains out! I don't know how they did it but they did an amazing job! Thank you!! Manager Steve is also great to work with. If I ever have a question or need to change a date, he has always been prompt and friendly in his reply. “We had Tino's Cleaning come and clean our kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and hall. I was SO impressed. They did such thorough cleaning - every surface. The stove looked brand new including the fan and light above it, the light fixtures all sparkled and they even cleaned out the channels for the sliding back door. It hadn't had such a good cleaning like this for ages. They were great and I appreciated their help so much.“

“Henry and his team are excellent and very trustworthy cleaners. I've used their team for 4 years in different apts I've rented / lived in SF since 2018. They do a great job, set reasonable prices and estimates, and are on time. They are hardworking and during the pandemic, wear masks and are vaccinated. I trust the quality of their work -- I've paid without "inspecting" if I had to step away. I can't vouch for them enough. My landlord was so happy with a move-out clean that they did that my landlord gave me my security deposit back on the spot. And an earlier apt was under unexpected repair / construction and they came to make it habitable and clean again.“

These folks are models of efficiency! Blown away by the quality of work at the price given. Good communication, on time and did way more work than expected. Went above and beyond the call of duty with two house (front yards - right next to each other) side by side.
Work done: completely cleaned one yard that was overgrown and unkept. They also took a 2nd yard; cleaned it of weeds, trimmed the trees ? and replanted succulents as needed.
Can’t wait for them to return and work on my 60ft back yard next. So happy with the outcome!!!

“Jessica from public relations dept reached out to me. She was very thoughtful and explained why we fell through the cracks as we were not informed that Jackie Chan was doing takeout at the height of the pandemic. She apologized and said their customer base is monolingual Chinese and they were able to access the information about the services as they read the Chinese newspaper and we don't. She explained the door ring camera policy is donated by the company Ring, and you need WiFi to access it which we don't have. She said she can connect me with AT & T at a discount rate for seniors. Jessica is very compassionate towards the seniors. Even though one employee left us with a bitter taste (she hassled people for donations and elbowed her coworker not to give me the lunch), I think this organization is very sensitive and compassionate towards us seniors. One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole barrel.“

Their pricing was better than any major cleaning company I researched. Although there was a slight delay in arrival, I’d still highly recommend them!“

I agreed to give them another shot and they’ve since given my condo a few great cleanings, and given their team’s commitment to making it right, I intend to continue working with them. If you have a bad experience, just reach out and they should be very responsive as they were with me.

I really wanted to like BerryClean, because they are not only local to the neighborhood but also they appear to pay fairly and provide benefits to their employees. But today, I got a deep cleaning (required for the first clean), and for a 1BR/1.5BA it was $600. That’s just the start. The cleaning technically started at 10:30AM and ended at 5:20PM. We visited our condo after three hours of cleaning to see if it was ready, and our door was locked. When we unlocked it, we found the cleaners eating lunch at our breakfast bar and watching tv on their phones. Then, we gave them more time to clean, and at about 5pm we got a call that the cleaning was almost done. When we got home, one of the cleaners was in our bathroom and I believe clogged the toilet because the other cleaner followed her into the bathroom and they were using multiple towels to clean up water on the floor and try to flush the toilet. Moreover, my husband started to feel under the weather and I texted the cleaners to ask for an update. I was told that they don’t have an exact time but will let me know then they have an update. I never heard anything so I followed up, and only then did I receive an update from the cleaners directly — not the office.

Overall, the cleaning was good, but the customer experience was really rough. I also think it’s inappropriate to not respond to our request for an estimate on how long the cleaning would take, to clog our toilet, and to eat lunch in our home when we’ve scheduled a cleaning. Finally, I think the pricing is quite unfair. $600 for a 1BR is extreme.

I have shared this feedback with management and hope that we can come to a resolution that’s favorable, and that this experience isn’t representative of the brand.“

“I when I had Dariana service's for my front yard, the grass was cut nice and even. I honestly never had my grass cut as even and precise like her ever before.
