I am from the UK and just visited this place. BEST BABRER SHOP EVER. The owner is such a friendly guy, he squeezed me in as a walk in and gave me an amazing haircut. Plus a dozen good recommendations of what to do in SF and where to eat. The only sad thing is when I leave SF I won’t be able to visit him anymore. Highly recommend.

As you make your way out of downtown West Portal toward Inner Sunset in Taraval you will find Cutthroat Barbershop. Run out of another salon this one seat Mom and pop is sweet. My boy had hair down past his shoulders and was begging for a cut, NOW!! We walked in and were accommodated same day! The barber, Rodney was so nice and skilled. Clip, Clip, Buzz, Buzz, done. 25$ in San Francisco!?! Not a thing. He had a good recommendation for my sons type of hair and made him look great. We have had enough bad cuts to know when we see a good one. Thanks Cutthroat. I hope you stick around.
