10/10 shop. Joey, Andy, and the whole crew are flexible and provide great service. I don’t live anywhere near the sunset but happily do the drive as I haven’t found another place nearly as good. Would highly recommend this place.

I needed a haircut for an upcoming trip and just saw this spot late last week. They squeezed me in today and this is the best haircut I have had in a long time. Loved the vibe, the music and the conversations. Big ups to Ozzy, my barber. Definitely found my new spot. If you're looking for a place that's going to make you feel like a new person, Avenues Barber Lounge is the place to go.

Love this place. I met Andy who I really liked. First, local dude who grew up in SF with part of his childhood within a mile of this location, so truly local. Cool dude. I didn't talk to the others much, but I liked the vibe. I only came in to groom my brows. I'm at an age where all of sudden they grew like crazy. I look like a sifu out of a Kungfu movie. I've never groomed them before, so I was a little nervous (worried I'd look a little weird or worse, they'd accidentally get shaved off). He was really cool and even cleaned up my ear hairs (again, at that age). I'd definitely come back here.
