I have been getting my hair cut and styled here for many many years. Noelle Avery and Ross Melville are magical when it comes to cutting hair, coloring and perms. Also have wonderful personalities I would highly recommend them.

Been coming here for years. I've got 70s long hair that gets a simple trim maybe twice a year, so my style fits right into the decor. Walls covered in celebrity photos, show tunes on the speakers, in a former apartment overlooking Castro Street.Ross, the owner does my hair. He's such a nice guy, and if you ask, has a lot of stories from San Francisco past. Just to manage expectations, this isn't a fancy place with a receptionist, products for sale, sleek interior. Rather, it's like going to someone's home, decorative clutter and all.In return, the price is crazy reasonable. Cash only.

Steven has been my cutter/stylist for years... Love his work! I consider him a friend. All the stylists and barbers at Bruno's are really nice and have long-time clients who keep coming back. I love the atmosphere in this place. This shop is above a restaurant and up a steep set of stairs, so it's not accessible for wheelchair users.
