Bangin Hair Salon is a welcoming and clean salon with a very good atmosphere. Clients are incredibly happy to have found stylists who perfectly match their vibe and leave them looking and feeling beautiful, amazing, and more like themselves. The stylists are praised as sweet, wonderful, knowledgeable, charismatic, attentive, and incredibly professional. They are skilled at creating gorgeous razor cuts, vivid colors, and full color sets, providing great advice on maintenance. They expertly interpret client ideas to deliver an elevated version of personal style, tailoring haircuts to frame faces perfectly and styling to suit natural hair texture. Stylists are patient, helpful, and talk clients through each step, ensuring they get exactly what they want. Appointments run on time with thoughtful pre-service communication. Clients feel they are in incredible hands, enjoy their experience so much they don't want to leave, and highly recommend the salon for some hair magic.
Mick is the absolute BEST with a razor. i've been going to him for 3 years now and I have never had a bad haircut. Despite me coming in consistently for a bang trim every month, he never fails to ask me plenty of questions and check-in throughout just to make sure I'm getting exactly what I want. Plus, he's just an absolute joy to hang out with while getting your hair cut.
I follow the hair philosophy that most in the industry do - that you want your haircut to be slightly shorter than what you actually want, because in 2 weeks it will be perfect, and save you money so you don't have to come in and touch up as frequently. I CANNOT tell you enough how uniquely held it feels to be in Mick’s chair. They’re an absolute artist, who uses their exceptional skills to carve exquisite looks - YES. But, he’s also so. dang. intuitive! Mick figures out what to create based on whatever style I’m after (even tho I tend to bring in a pretty scattered sense of what I want); and somehow *like magic* he captures the true essence of the cut in a way that is totally bespoke to my face!! 💋 and he knows how to honor my curls 🥰
