You( Management) would do well to FULLY TRAIN a woman named Lisa( name on receit) I have NEVER encountered such a droll, non- smiling, no eye- contact employee...I think...EVER!!! This happened today, December 15th. Upon my checking out today, she never greeted me, or, after I paid, handed me my receipt WITHOUT EVEN A GLANCE! After a few seconds, I said to HER, " THANK YOU" ( in hopes she would understand that you need to acknowledge the Customer....CUSTOMER SERVICE is KEY!! I had her before and complained to management, but, apparently NO ONE CARES. TOO BAD!!! I would really LOVE to hear back from the Manager...but NOT with some " scripted" , "... read full review

It's always fun to come on here and see how the worst grocery store in all of San Diego County is being reviewed. The people that work at the store seem to have no idea how to run a grocery store. Let's start with that. They don't know how to staff. They can't anticipate a rush of people. At 5pm every damn day. They don't know how to stock the store. It's almost as if the people that work at this particular store, are the rejects from other 'good' Vons stores. If you are unfortunate enough to live in this area. And need to use the store on the regular. I feel for you. Every time I go in there, I leave feeling worse than when I walked... read full review

Pretty terrible Vons. They never have the things you want. I've gone several times to see the same things out of stock repeatedly. Most people I know who live in the area don't even like to go here. Murphy Canyon Vons is much better and I know some people would rather go to La Jolla Ralph's. This one is usually understaffed too it seems. I wouldn't go here unless you needed something really quickly.
