Today was my first time shopping here since this Vons got its "fluff and buff". The store remodel eliminated all of my negatives -- better space in the aisles, improved lighting, more modern look, etc., Service in the bakery and deli departments today was excellent. Self Checkout went smoothly.

Delivery. I have had good results with pickup and delivery at this store until today, when I discovered that there is one major problem, when something goes wrong there is no human to contact. I am handicapped, so much of the time i need delivery. If I am having a better day I order pickup. My Grand are coming over tonight - all teens and preteens. They can really eat! I ordered the Friday sale at 5 pm on Friday of 2 packages of bacon ( BOGO). They were out already. I can understand that stores run out but EVERYTIME I order a Friday special they are out, even early in the morning. I had ordered 2 lb packages of service case bacon. I have explored to many different Vons in and around where I live and this one has to be my favorite one. It really isn't super busy any time of day I have gone so it is easy to get in and out of there. The staff is also super nice and helpful when looking for things. I feel like the store is pretty well organized and clean so that makes the shopping experience easier than some other stores I have been to. There is also a Starbucks inside which is also a plus when you did a midday pick me up while grocery shopping!
