This Vons is awesome! Very nice people and they have such a good bakery. Try their bread and their pastries.... IT IS FRESH AND TASTY! They have great deals everyday. Thank you Vons! I shall be back!

I visited this SDSU College Area location during the after work and before dinner customer rush. Checkout was super long. Even the self checkout was packed, a 15 customer long line. There were 3 registers open (2 cashier registers & 1 self checkout register section with multiple registers) This store is very well stocked. They have a great Halloween section that is setup well. There are so many Halloween supplies for parties, trick or treaters, and candy that it's a pretty cool. I felt like if I had time to browse here, I would totally find some great things for Halloween. I worked retail throughout college, so I fully get being "over it" when you're about to close up and are trying to get the last customers out of there. But that doesn't really warrant being flat-out rude and sarcastic to late night customers for absolutely no reason. I checked out about 30 minutes prior to closing with less than a dozen items, and was pleasant as could be (didn't need or ask for anything special, just wanted them to ring up my purchase so I could get out of their hair) and the clerk just could not help but make snarky and weird comments during the entire transaction.
