They are polite, but I have not enjoyed one second of being on tricare prime and after finally seeing “our doctor” for my sons ER Follow up, which I practically had to beg for as the woman on the phone asked if he was ok now as if that should suffice, it was extremely underwhelming. Polite is the only positive. My son runs around for hours at a time and the doctor, without asking any questions or knowing ANY prior information told me it was normal and not to worry. Because it was a follow up I guess the doctor did not want to take time to genuinely investigate my concern. They'll keep you on the phone for as long as an hour then they hang up on you they refuse to talk to anybody on the phone they are the worst provider I've ever dealt with they don't care if you live or die I do not recommend them you're better off going to a witch doctor I don't understand why the VA uses this organization so they don't care about veterans

My wife had an appointment for today at the TriCare in East Lake. It takes about 30 minutes to get there through the traffic, 2 gallons of gas each way. It was better when it was on Naples st in Chula Vista. 3 miles away. We were called in the morning to make her appointment at 10:20 vice 2:50. I told the lady on the phone we have to have it in the afternoon. So we get there and told us her appointment was canceled at 10:30 and no appointment in the afternoon. It's just a cluster to go over there with all of the stop lights and traffic just to find out it was wasted time and gas
