Good staff, they help local rescue orgs, and they clearly care about their patients.

We made a mistake by staying with this clinic for several years — it was an expensive and frustrating lesson.
The front desk staff clearly do not care about clients. They repeatedly tried to increase our bill even when the veterinarian confirmed that certain procedures had already been completed. Dealing with insurance paperwork is another major issue: they are unable to fill out documents correctly, and when you ask them to state the correct reason for the visit, they shift the blame onto the client — even when the mistake was theirs — and refuse to fix it.
One prescription took three weeks to be sent to the pharmacy despite multiple follow-ups. Diagnoses were often incorrect, forcing us to seek second opinions elsewhere.
You will never have a consistent doctor. Veterinarians constantly change, and each new one comes up with a different explanation or treatment plan, so you are forced to start over every time.
Bottom line: our relationship with this clinic is over. Complete lack of professionalism and accountability. If you truly care about your pet, you should look for another animal hospital.

We love the Drs. and the staff in the back, always super friendly and helpful. However, the staff at the front almost seems annoyed when we come in, or when we call in. Every time I call in, I'm put on hold...every.time. I've been sitting in the office and seen them answer the phone and put people on hold when they are sitting talking to each other, and just leave people on hold for a long time, kind of like this is standard protocol to make people wait for them. It hasn't always been like this, but seems to much much worse over the past year or so. Not sure why the negative energy from the girls at the front desk, but the staff in the back is always helpful.

It’s been 3 weeks now since my sweetest boy Sully passed away. As heartbroken as we are I know he received the best care from Dr.Vora that I could have ever asked for. My 2 rescue dogs had been in her care for many years.
Sully had many issues, although you would never know from the sweet, silly boy he was.
I cannot thank Dr.Vora and the whole team enough for the loving, kind and thorough care they gave him.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you’ve done. When my heart heals, I’ll be seeing you again with another. I would never go anywhere else.

I can’t say enough good things about this vet hospital, I think it’s been about 10 or 11 years now! They’ve taken the most amazing care of my boy every single visit, always with compassion, professionalism, and genuine love. We absolutely love Dr. McClellan, he’s truly the best. We trust him 100% because he always puts our boy’s wellbeing first. He’s an incredible doctor and we’re so grateful for him.

The staff and front desk team are just as wonderful, so kind, attentive, and always ready to help. You can tell they truly care, and that means the world to me. It’s such a comfort knowing my baby is in such capable and loving hands.

It very hard to find a good vet and place to take the fur kids. TPAH has been amazing in all the ways you could ask for and we will always recommend to friends and family.

The staff at Torrey Pines Animal Hospital is amazing! They are very responsive, and they even called to check in on my older cat. Everyone is very friendly, and they all work together really well. I know I can bring my cat and puppy here for great care!

Very nice staff, and the vet was very thorough and helpful. On the other hand, it's hit or miss if the vet will call you back when the staff says they will.

Everyone at Torrey Pines Animal Hospital was great! The reception team was welcoming and kind, the vet assistant was friendly and made me feel comfortable and Dr. Mc Intosh was wonderful. I am so glad they were able to schedule us the day of and help my pup feel better.
