Tim is a great barber. I live in NYC most of the year but when I'm in San Diego I go to him. I have thin hair that requires a lot of attention and Tim is very detail oriented, cutting certain spots in order to give the appearance of more coverage. I tried a few barbers before him who had high ratings in the SD area who would give me a generic haircut in 15 minutes and fill in the rest of the time with chitchat but Tim really gets into the details and listens to feedback (even though I'm terrible at communicating what I want). Side note: watching planes fly into airport from the barber chair is also pretty cool.
Great haircut as always! Tim is friendly, accommodating and dependable! If you are looking for a consistently great haircut at a reasonable price then I cannot recommend him enough!
I found Tim after asking a waiter where he got his cut. Literally a cut so good I wanted to know where I could get one.
I've gone to Tim several times since then and he's always delivered. He's talented with an attention for detail, but still works quickly out of his tidy and charming space.
One thing I particularly appreciate is that he helps me explore the options for my cut, because usually I have a few ideas and am not sure which direction I want to go or that would look best on me. Surprisingly few barbers are willing to do this. Tim has a good sense for style and I haven't left disappointed.
