it's been a few years since I was a client there, but I was very happy with my stylist. Unfortunately, she moved out of state, and instead of trying someone new, I decided to grow my hair out again and save some money. My only complaint was the high price and with a great short cut, visits were about every month to month & 1/2 and my income low and fixed.

Had to edit my review from a while ago - prices are getting ridiculous here. There’s a great barbershop in Torrey Pines that i go to instead now.

Had a haircut a while ago, and forgot to review until I just received an email reminder to book with them. And then it all came back. Probably the worst haircut I have ever had in my adult life. I actually had to go to another barber to try to salvage the disaster.

I booked with Dre. Totally chill and patient. Very communicative and heard everything I wanted out of my choices for a haircut/style. It’s been 6 months since I had my last haircut and I have long/ medium hair length. Dre heard me out with all the options I threw out. Super happy with it. If you’re looking for a chill and friendly hair stylist- I recommend Dre.
Aside from a dope experience with Dre, this place has a relaxed and ‘non-obnoxious typical salon’ vibe. The hot face towel and Japanese Whiskey was the best addition to my experience.
Definitely coming back again and totally worth the price point for the entire experience.

I moved to SD and was looking for a place designed for men to have a great cut plus service / extras. Barbershops always been fun, but i like all the extras such as heated towel press, washouts, styling, the drinks and cookies!

Ive been seeing Ashley and she got the style down after the first 2 sessions. Shes patient and you can tell she’s dedicated to her craft.

Highly recommend if you know what you want and dont mind paying for the service you deserve.

Requested style: I wanted a simple fade, but what i appreciated is ashleys advice on how to have my hair fit the shape of my face and the type of hair i have. Very insightful.

Terrible haircut from Taylor S. I don't normally go to a salon but needed a haircut before a company offsite. I expected a "master stylist" to know what they were doing and even potentially make recommendations. I provided multiple photos of the style I wanted but the end result was nothing like it. When I got home my girlfriend immediately said she didn't like it and since a couple of friends have said the same. So I had to get another haircut after dropping $120 here.

The atmosphere and other barbers seemed nice. I would avoid Taylor S. though. I won't be coming back here.

Great atmosphere free drinks friendly staff. Diamond in the rough.

I found Tailored Hair after my last stylist had to relocate, and she recommended me to my current stylist, Charlotte! Charlotte is extremely talented and is nothing short of phenomenal. She's walked me through hairstyles, offering her insights/suggestions and was very attentive with how I wanted my hair. Overall, the entire vibe of the salon was very laid back and welcoming. They offer guests drinks while we wait for our appointments to start, offer warm towels for our face while our hair gets washed, and even give us amazing massages in that process!

It is definitely an experience to remember, and I strongly recommend sitting down in Charlotte's chair to see a master at work!
