I suffer from a pinched sciatic nerve that makes my left leg virtually useless at times. I was limping when I arrived to Sorrento Body Care.....when I left, I felt like I could do backflips! They know what they're doing here, and I am grateful I found this place. Definetly a return customer! 5/5 stars across the board.

They moved a short distance over on Mira Mesa Blvd. It's is a very nice massage spa. I've been to the new place twice and like it very much.

Outstanding massage therapy by trained and very pleasant staff. There are many choices but attitude and talent count--most places have a standard approach to massage. Michelle and her team of therapists care more--I would give them a try.

Something is really off about this place and I gave it about 3 red flags before I told her I wanted to leave and to be honest I was nicer than I should have been but I was so uncomfortable I just wanted to leave. I called here and immediately was told I could come in so I thought great! I'll be there soon. When I got there the first interaction was what do you want, I said just a full body massage and I was told to pay now for it. Very unusual since I've never ever paid before a service but I thought maybe it's just different here. I go in the room and get undressed leaving my undergarments on because I usually to feel more comfortable. When she came in she did ask if I was ready which really is just how you do things but might be one of the most positive things I can say. She immediately went right into it, clearly not a professional as there was no organization just grabbing and pushing and squeezing. I use to date a massage therapist and hand technique is critical and you use the base of yours hands not this so that was red flag 2. I immediately didn't like the pressure and when It got bad enough I noticed she got on top of me literally with legs on both sides and I really almost freaked out on this woman but she got off and wasn't touching me with her body so I tried to think maybe this is just a different technique? Either way I wasn't enjoying this anymore. After more awful grabbing and squeezing I told her I wanted to leave and she couldn't understand me so I had to talk into a google translator. I'm half naked, on a table, and you can't even understand what I'm saying. I was so upset. I couldn't get up until she left the room and she insisted to grab a towel to wipe off the oil first. Honestly i was just done at this point, I let her wipe it off and I had to say okay I'm done thank you thank you I'm done all I'm a translator. I got up and left and she was waiting outside and asked if I wasn't happy with her services. I told her it's not what I'm used to and I wanted to leave but thank you anyway. Part of me believes she was trying to be sincere, but it's a profession that I'm paying you for and being uncomfortable while undressed with a stranger that couldn't communicate with me was just so so horrible.

My husband and I got a 60 minutes couples massage with Michelle and Rose. They were friendly, did an expert job and treated us very well. Michelle helped me with my shoulders which are very sore from carrying my baby. Really happy we went and we'll definitely be back!

Watch out for this place. We went in for 45 mins and only got about 30 mins treatment and the therapists kept going out taking care of other things and cut our session off. At the end we told them politely that we are not gonna tip extra considering we already paid more than we got and they called us trash. They are really terrible.
