Sojourn is easily my favorite yoga studio. The instructors are kind, good at what they do, and the variety of offerings is great. The community aspect of the space is unmatched - you can tell how much the people here love to stay connected & over the two plus years I've been a member, I've felt supported and welcomed.

Sojourn is the best studio in San Diego, hands down — especially when it comes to community. The warmth here is real. People actually talk to each other, teachers remember you, and there’s this grounded, welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in.

The teachers are incredible — strong, thoughtful, and really present — and the classes always feel intentional without being overly serious. Their workshops and events are also a huge plus; they’re fun, creative, and a great way to connect with people off the mat.

I leave every single time feeling lighter, stronger, and just…better.

Sojourn has been a truly healing place/community for me as I navigated through a major life move/transition. The teachers are kind and skillful. The environment is peaceful. My nervous system has been able to reset with consistently attending yin yoga. Even my teenager asks to go! Thank you🌟

I absolutely love the vibe and the magical people at Sojourn; it truly feels like an open and loving community, and I genuinely feel at home here. I've been coming here for about two years now, and I really love their yin and breath work classes. Their workshops are also great, covering some fantastic unique topics. Although they tend to be on the higher side of my budget, but if one really resonates with me, I'll find a way to make it happen! I wholeheartedly recommend checking out their Yin and Breathe Work Class, and if you have the chance to join a class with Suzanne or Olesya, it's an absolute MUST!!

I’ve been attending Sojourn classes regularly for roughly 6 months. This place has become such a refuge for me. So many times, I have left the studio feeling altogether centered, held, and strong.

Jake’s classes are simply magical and I wish I could attend them more often. Casey, Kelly D, and Kellie L each give me progressive challenges and a really lovely sense of calm and safety to settle into while I meet those challenges. Yin classes with Josie and Bridey are yummy. There are several other healers and instructors that I could and should mention — and several more who I have yet to experience due to their schedules not aligning with mine. However, I would be remiss if I failed to mention one other instructor/healer who has become dear to me…Olesya guides flow classes, yin classes, sound healing, and breath work and always has me feeling so very grounded and connected. She’s got this one hidden gem of a class on Wednesday mornings (9AM — come join!) that is more of a workshop sort of class to help with alignment and postures. It culminates into a nice flow — but myself and several others who have come in with pain or a challenge getting into a pose (inversions, anyone?) — have often left with significantly more confidence and strength that we can then bring to the rest of our practice (and life). Personally, I had developed lot of instability and a sharp pain in my right shoulder, particularly in chaturanga. With her help, I’ve never felt stronger.

Sojourn is a yoga studio that really helps bring you back to yourself. It truly embodies the full philosophy of yoga and not just the physical. I’m positive I made the right selection joining this studio and look forward to the continuing journey.

This place is unprofessional and cancels events last minute, Don’t plan on going to any of their events or workshops unless you are OK with them being canceled on you last minute.

I purchased a rather expensive ($120) massage workshop, and put great effort in to get a babysitter so my wife and I could attend. I was super excited. Also the workshop was on my birthday and a birthday present to myself…. five hours before the workshop is suppose to start I get a text message that the event is canceled because of low attendance… i’ve gone to so many yoga workshops and none of them have been canceled because of low attendance. So I was left with nothing to do on my birthday. we spent the entire week trying to get a babysitter, That we then had to cancel on. This place has no respect for your time Or event attendees. I wouldn’t make any great effort to attend any of their workshops or event events.

Honestly, the thing that just sucks is I was left with nothing to do on my birthday and I could’ve been doing so many other things And the last-minute cancellation sketchy.

Love the space and the calming atmosphere. Classes are diverse and offers something for every student, no matter how different we are in our journey in life. Highly recommend.

I booked a reiki session with Mahri and had an incredible experience ✨ She was so inviting and made me feel safe the moment I entered the space. I had some difficult emotions come up and she helped me move through them and cultivate relaxation. She checked in with me again later that day to make sure I felt supported. Highly recommend booking Mahri for a session she is wonderful!
