I've tried to edit and add these photos to my recent review for the Clairemont location of San Diego Marble and Tile. As you can see the flooring is exceptional! The flooring people who installed the hardwood remarked about the quality of the hardwood and how he had to make no adjustments, and there were no warps in the maple, and he explained that he knew that we paid a good amount for the quality of the hardwood. It is worth every penny, and then some. All the neighbors are floored at how nice it looks, and feels. The tile is a matte and polished version of the same design. It is stunning! The completion of our first floor remodel occurred on January 26, 2024, so I didn't have these pictures, at the time, to post with the original review. We will be putting in new white shutters in the dining room and living areas, to coordinate with the new color scheme of the kitchen and family rooms. Ran out of cash for now, but it should happen with them in the next month or two. Thank you guys it has been a pleasure working with people who know what they're doing and stand by their reputation for quality customer service.
Sergio went above and beyond for me! My contractor wanted to install our backsplash ASAP, and instead of a 3-5 day turnaround that everyone was giving us, Sergio worked it out so I could get the materials within the same day! Not only that, but the quote he provided was way cheaper than anywhere else.. even for this "rush" delivery. I will be back when I start my next project!
This is THE BEST tile place in San Diego County, by far. Sales people who are knowledgeable and helpful, not pushy. Fantastic selection of beautiful materials. And a service desk manned by people who really know how to install and care for tile, and are happy to take the time to walk a DIYer (like myself) through a project. I bought all my kitchen and bath tile from them 12 years ago, and recently broke a tile and had to find a replacement -- they had it. And then told me how to perform the repair.
