Called to schedule appt for a pedicure, easy enough. Arrived to my appt on time. There were two nail technicians there working on clients. One of them greeted me and told me that they were running behind and that there would be a little bit of a wait. I chose a color and sat down. 10 min later I could see that she was doing a full set and still in the midst of it. I excused myself and said if it was going to be much longer I have a couple of errands that I could run. She checked with the other technician and then told me it would be about 15 more minutes before they could see me. All this when I had a scheduled appointment. I offered to come back at a later time, she asked me what time do I prefer to come back I gave her a time and she said oh no we can't do it then, we have another appointment. 🤦♀️ What a concept.. She offered me a different time and I said I would take it but had no intention of going back. In this case, the rating speaks for itself. Not a great way to do business.

Beautifully made nails . I am obsessed with this place. I have never been so happy with my nails as I am with this place. Very kind friendly people. Most of thier customers have been regulars for a long time. They even know thier customers family it is the best! And the nails!! Made sure I was in love with them as every step. They made my nails look better and made me feel so confident. I just love love rose canyon beauty and spa !

This place was so great - I was traveling from Phoenix and had free time to get my nails done and they were so welcoming and friendly. My gel manicure on my hands is still perfect 2 weeks later!

Rose Canyon is the only nail salon I’ll ever go to! I’ve been seeing Tracy for over 2 ½ years, and she is truly the best! My nails are always perfect, last well over a month, and never chip or break. I do gel x nails only, did acrylic for 10 years and will never go back after trying gel x! Christine gives me the most perfect French tip pedicure every single time, and Vi is an incredible nail tech too! My friends see her and their nails are always flawless! Everyone is so sweet, talented and really do care about their clients. Having lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Miami, I’m very picky about my nails, and it’s rare to find quality work that lasts even three weeks.. but Tracy’s work has kept my nails lasting for over five weeks all the time! Rose Canyon will forever be my nail home!

This was my first time here and it was a great experience! Tracy is super knowledgeable, talented and down to earth. We discussed options of gel x vs dip and ultimately I went with the dip but should have gone with her recommendation of gel x. She more than delivered on the design I asked for. Kim did my gel pedi and she was so sweet! I will definitely be making this my go to nail spot in SD.
