Roche Bobois is a world leader of high-end furniture design, offering a broad range of exclusive made-to-order designs. The sales floor staff is always really helpful, understanding, patient, and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The store features amazing, interesting furniture pieces for the eclectic at heart. Almost everything is custom made to order, which means a wait of months, sometimes with delays, but customers report being happy in the end. The full collection includes sofas, armchairs, tables, and more. Some note there are many funky colors and so few neutrals, wishing for more subtle fabrics. Despite being a big purchase, the process is described as comfortable and exciting.
so today i went into the showroom for my very first time, after yearning and yearning and yearning for the mahjong set that used to live in the window. i finally took the leap and went in there and wow. that stunning red headed woman (Jessica maybe? please correct me if i’m wrong :)) gave me the Works. i felt so at home thanks to the welcoming staff, i got to feel all the beautiful textiles, i was offered complimentary water, and the wonderful people i met in there shared many giggles with me. i cannot recommend this lixurious, leisurely, shopping experience to anyone more. The sales floor staff is always really helpful. I give them a solid 5 stars. But almost everything is custom made to order you have to wait months sometimes with lots of delays, but I’ve always been happy in the end. I wish they had some more subtle fabrics, they are so many funky colors and so few neutrals and for the price going with a bold color seems too risky for the average person like me ?
We recently purchased a Mah Jong sofa at the UTC store and we felt compelled to highlight the excellent customer service that we received from Shanna Nilsson throughout that process. It took us at least three in-store visits and taking home fabric swatches after two of those visits to finally decide on the final fabric combinations. Toward the end, we went a bit crazy and looked to change things up, but then reverted to the original design that we loved. Shanna was incredibly understanding, patient and attentive. Ultimately, we were very thankful that she allowed us to go through that whole decision-making process to come to an unforced decision. From the start, she quickly grasped our vision/style, then kept us on track with her wonderful, but gentle, guidance. Despite it being a big purchase, she made it a very comfortable and exciting process.
