About Premier Fight and Fitness South Bay
Premier Fight and Fitness South Bay opened in 2022 and became a great gym for martial arts and fitness in San Diego. The gym offers classes for all skill levels, from youth to adults, including Muay Thai, BJJ, kickboxing, wrestling, and strength and conditioning. Instructors are very knowledgeable and have competed or trained for more than ten years. The coaching is top level and the trainers care about each student’s progress. The gym culture is very welcoming and has a family atmosphere. Members feel at home immediately and the community is supportive. Women coaches and classmates create a safe space, especially for those who may have felt uncomfortable in other gyms. Intro classes are helpful for beginners, and the coaching is legit. The coaches are friendly and want to help you reach your goals. Many members have lost weight, improved mental health, and found a sense of purpose. The gym is clean, the atmosphere is fun, and the training feels like a family. The trainers are great teachers and great people who want to help you with your goals. The gym is recommended for all levels, especially for women who want a welcoming environment. Premier Fight and Fitness South Bay is a safe, supportive place where people grow and feel challenged.
Great school for those trying to learn how to fight or defend themselves, prices are reasonable which is great based on how everything has gotten so expensive this days. The plus side also there seems to be enough women training as well for the girls who are thinking of trying it out I know how important that is for women to know they won't be the only girl
This gym has something special. The coaching is top level across wrestling, BJJ, kickboxing, and Muay Thai, and the community is one of the most supportive I’ve been around. Whether you’re here to get in shape and learn how to defend yourself, or a fighter trying to take your game to another level, you’ll feel welcomed, challenged, and supported. The coaches care, the training is legit, and the culture helps people grow. Highly recommend.
Premier South Bay has become one of the most impactful places in my life. As a trans masc person, going into a combat sport gym has always felt difficult as I never know how welcoming the gym culture and people will be. However, Premier is a safe and welcoming space where I can just focus on learning/training Muay Thai.
What I like about Premier specifically are the intro classes, having women coaches/femmentors/classmates, and the sense of community. All aspects that were missing at the last gym that I tired out before Premier.
From a technical perspective, I've enjoyed the classes where I got to learn directly from the head coach Zac. The combination of...read full review
